The conference aims to invite researchers, scientists, engineers, planners, development workers as well as experts on related fields and to provide platforms for presenting their research activities along with discussion on observations, findings and innovative ideas. Keynote speakers will be invited to deliver presentations on specific burning issues.
Selected peer reviewed papers will be published in the special issue of Journal of Hydrology and Meteorology published by SOHAM-Nepal. Original manuscript which is not published elsewhere is only accepted for the publication. The original manuscript should be in English and also must follow the guidelines (www.soham.org.np/instruction-for-authors). For manuscript format, you can also check the published Journals available at www.soham.org.np/journal.
PROGRAMME
The conference will consist of a mixture of oral and poster sessions. We encourage posters that promote interaction among participants, and communications that present new research prior to peer-reviewed publication. Additional activities are to be determined including stall exhibition and post-conference excursion. The meeting will also provide the opportunity to organize special sessions on specific current issues. Contributions to the conference will be selected according to their relevance to the topics aforementioned.

LOCATION
The conference will be held in the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. The city stands at an elevation of approximately 1,400 m (4,600 ft) in the bowl-shaped Kathmandu Valley of central Nepal. Kathmandu Valley has a rich cultural and religious history and is also a home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites. (Please check www.welcomenepal.com for more information)
VENUE
The conference venue will be at the Radisson Hotel (www.radisson.com/kathmandune), Kathmandu.
ACCOMMODATION
Kathmandu has a wide range of hotels including luxury international-standard hotels. Participants are kindly requested to book the hotel sufficiently in advance. The Radisson Hotel (where the conference will be held) is providing conference offer in the room rate per night as follows, inclusive of breakfast and airport transfer:

Single Room (Deluxe): USD 110.00
The above rates are subject to 10% Service charge and 13% VAT. Interested participants are kindly requested to contact the Radisson hotel directly for reservation.
TRANSPORTATION
Normally, respective hotel will pick up/drop you from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu. Organizer will not arrange any kind of transportation for airport transfer. Pre-paid Taxi service, identifiable with green number plates, is also available for downtown transfer at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, across the green channel. Normal local taxi with black number plate is also available throughout the city.
COMMUNICATION
A widely available mobile network service is NTC or Ncell prepaid/postpaid service in Nepal. NTC has also introduced 4G/LTE wireless internet for GSM mobile subscribers. Variety of data package is available depending upon its validity and data offer. Prepaid and post paid SIM cards are available in the counter outside custom at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu. One photocopy of passport and a recent passport-size photograph is required to buy mobile SIM card. Number of authorized center within the city also provides such services. ENTRY VISA REQUIREMENT
All participants except Indian citizens are requested to follow the visa requirement to enter into Nepal. Visa on arrival is also available for some counties. All foreign participants entering to Nepal through the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu are requested to fill the online visa application form available at www.nepalimmigration.gov.np.
POST-CONFERENCE EXCURSION
Post conference excursion is arranged after the conference at a subsidized cost. Organizer is not responsible to provide any kind of support for your desire excursion. Participants are kindly requested to confirm your interest in advance. There are several exciting places for the excursion in Nepal depending upon your interest. The duration of the excursion ranges from single day trip to week long or more. Mountain flight service is also available to experience spectacular mountains scenery very closely in just one hour duration during early morning periods. REGISTRATION
Participants are requested to send their registration fees through bank transfer. Please send the copy of deposited slip via email. Registration fee includes two lunches and tea/coffee on meeting days.
